Playing dodgeball is a great deal of fun and helps to provide a low-impact aerobic workout that is amplified when played in the confines of a great trampoline room like the one at the FLIPnOUT Fun Center. While the ball can at times make an impact that people don’t like, the physical benefits of playing dodgeball and especially on a room full of the most modern and safest trampolines means the heart, respiratory and circulatory systems all benefit from a great workout while several muscle groups also get a good workout.
Great Balance and Agility Required
Playing dodgeball takes a great deal of hand and eye coordination when throwing the ball at opponents and when keeping the eye on the ball when targeted and trying to catch it or dodge it. That means many sudden bursts of energy while exhibiting balance and agility for participants, who get a great workout while also having a lot of fun. Sudden, explosive movements to avoid being hit will make the heart increase its pace and give it a good workout while keeping a relatively low impact on the body. The legs, arms, abdomen and other muscles and muscle groups get a good workout without overly straining them, and there is little chance if injury, particularly if wearing safety goggles.
Enhanced Fun Workout with Trampoline Room
While dodgeball itself can provide many great health benefits, playing it on a trampoline surface with trampoline-lined edges of the playing field provide added workout and health benefits. The additional bouncing and effort required to move rapidly and explosively on a trampoline surface improves the exercise benefits for the muscles as well as heart and lungs. A trampoline surface also makes diving landings much softer and safer for contestants, who always find it a lot of fun to play dodgeball at the FLIPnOUT Fun Center.
