If you’re a kid – or if you have a kid – you know that the last few weeks of school can be the longest weeks of your life! After all, the sun is shining and the days are getting longer, and that means there’s plenty to do outside the walls of the school! But the last few weeks of school can also be pretty great. Here’s why.
You really know your class.
Sure, you might be getting tired of the routine, but the end of the year is fun because you’ve become close to your classmates and teachers. From field trips to final projects, you’re sure to have more fun with the people you’ve grown to become great friends with!
There’s more to do outside.
Yeah, that’s also what makes the end of the year hard, but having more to do outside usually means spending more of your school time outside – whether that means more fun in gym class or special projects in science. Outdoors are always preferable!
No more of those standardized tests.
Oh boy, if there’s one thing that most kids hate, it’s those long standardized tests. By the end of the year though, those pesky tests are done and you can cruise through the last few weeks.
Field days are here!
Whether your school has a traditional field day or a special field trip planned, these occasions are usually held in the springtime – and that makes it much easier to get to school when the weather is fine.
It’s time for parties!
From graduations to end-of-the-year celebrations, these last few weeks of school are the perfect time to party. Plan a fun weekend at home or go all out with a day (or evening!) spent at a Las Vegas trampoline park. There’s nothing better to celebrate than having just about one more year under your belt.
