Labor Day weekend is here, and that means a whole lot of people will be getting out of town. From crowded airports to deadlocked traffic, traveling on this holiday weekend can be more difficult than it’s worth. That’s why it’s a good idea to stick around town.
Fun Ways to Spend the Weekend
A long weekend at home isn’t so bad – especially if you plan for some FLIPnFUN:
There’s no need to haul the tent or fifth wheel to a campground to have some fun under the stars. And with the weather still nice, this weekend is a great time to host your own “last campout of the year!” Deck your backyard with everything you need: tents, hammocks, fire pits – and forget you’re actually spending the night at home! Roast some s’mores over an open fire, tell ghost stories and wake up to sausages cooked over the fire. Okay, we won’t blame you if you use the house bathroom.
Host a Back-to-School Party
Hanging around town is fun if you’re doing it with friends. School has begun, so there’s no better weekend to host a FLIPnFUN back-to-school party! Hang out at home or gain some serious popularity points by hosting your party at FLIPnOUT – no cleanup required! We’ve even got the food covered. Labor Day has never been easier.
Get “Fall” Organized
From fall sports to new school schedules, autumn is a busy time. Take the weekend to make sure you’re prepared for the coming months; okay, it’s not the most fun way to spend the weekend, but if you put in some effort on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll enjoy spending Monday relaxing and enjoying your newly organized life.
Host a Movie Marathon
Staying home this Labor Day doesn’t need to cost a dime – unless, of course, you want red vines and popcorn. Host a movie marathon and enjoy a few days of staying up late (and sleeping in) until it’s back to work and school.
Take in Stragglers
This Labor day, make your friends and family travel to YOU! Being the host isn’t the most relaxing job, but it allows you to socialize with people you love without packing up and hitting the road. Cap your weekend off with a good old-fashioned Labor Day barbecue. And of course, if you’re dying to get everyone out of the house, FLIPnOUT will be around all weekend!
Your turn: How are YOU spending the weekend?
