Has back-to-school fever got you down? Sure, heading back to early mornings, stricter schedules and evening homework may seem pretty tough after a fun-filled summer, but getting back to school doesn’t have to be grueling. Make this back to school season more fun than ever! Here’s how:
Throw a back to school party.
The best part about heading back to school is catching up with friends (and seeing who you’ve got in your homeroom). Make the experience even more exciting by throwing an epic back-to-school party! For the ultimate fun, reserve some time at FLIPnOUT – there’s no better way to “jump” back into the school year than at our trampoline park!
Get creative for lunch.
Cafeteria food can be pretty boring; so can homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. This year, try out your lunchtime culinary prowess by getting creative with your brown bag. Try out different sandwiches (BLT with hummus on sourdough?), or load your school box with something more substantial, like grilled chicken skewers! Want to impress your friends? Bring a lunch that requires chopsticks.
Build a homework alcove.
If you’ve always wanted to say “I’ll be in my office,” the school year is the best time to start. Rearrange your room so you have a corner dedicated to nights doing homework and studying for tests. Make is super cool with a unique lamp and colorful supplies.
Make after-school plans.
The best way to get through the school day is by thinking about the fun you’re going to have afterward! Plan for some playtime – like skateboarding in the cul-de-sac or meeting your buddies at FLIPnOUT for some serious fun.
Make a new friend.
Your old friends are what make going back to school fun, but the idea of meeting some new faces makes it exciting! Make a goal this year of meeting at least three new friends. Who knows? Your newest best friend forever could be sitting next to you in social studies!
